Without Neverfail tools such as vMotion and VMWare/HA provide a level of business continuity to protect against platform issues, but where the application starts to fail they cannot address availability. Neverfail technology also powers VMware vCenter Server. Any downtime of vCenter Server means that VMware tools such as vMotion, SRM, VIEW and others can no longer work. VMware vCenter Server Heartbeat protects availability of vCenter server itself, and it's powered by Neverfail.
