Centurum Relies on Neverfail to Ensure Continuous Communications Uptime

AUSTIN, Texas – Sept. 30, 2008 – To protect the e-mail and database environments that federal government agencies such as the Department of Defense rely upon, Centurum selected Neverfail, a leading global software company providing affordable continuous availability and disaster recovery solutions, to ensure continuous e-mail uptime. Centurum realized the need for a disaster recovery plan when it merged three commonly-owned, affiliated companies into one. The task of unifying the companies’ disparate systems was a challenge for the IT team whose mandate was to ensure that all systems operated at full capacity without a moment’s pause.

After an audit of the data center and systems, the department began to search for a disaster recovery solution to protect valuable applications and data and to ensure a continuous communication flow. Within seconds, the IT team failed over to a secondary system in Virginia. The servers were synched up, immediately ensuring continuity of all communications with no loss of e-mail or related data.
