Company Ensures Critical Documents for Development Projects Are Continuously Available for Staff and Clients

Neverfail’s solutions will provide continuous availability of key documents held on the company’s business-critical document management system, which underpins all internal and client initiatives.

With major contracts including the redevelopment of Thorpe Park, the regeneration of Wembley Stadium and the planning of The London Eye, Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners must ensure that its IT systems are available at all times, and that employees can continue to work even in the event of a system failure. Information critical to the completion of these projects, such as technical drawings and client contracts, is held on Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners’ document management system. It is essential that this server is protected by a continuous availability solution to ensure that mission-critical applications are kept up and running at all times.

Following the installation of Neverfail, Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners’ document management system is fully protected against all instances of downtime, ensuring that employees can continue to access IT systems regardless of a failure. Additionally, Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners is running the Neverfail Data Rollback Module, which provides an extra line of defence against corruption and virus attack.

Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners has also implemented VMware Infrastructure 3 (VI3) in its secondary server environment to add flexibility to its IT operations. By using Neverfail, the company is able to seamlessly switch from its physical primary server environment to its virtual secondary server environment in the event of planned or unplanned downtime.
