Neverfail Appoints New Chief Technology Officer

Industry Veteran Brings Strong Technology Innovation to Company

AUSTIN, Texas – May 29, 2007 – The Neverfail Group (Neverfail), a leading global software company providing both a high availability solution and disaster recovery software, today announced the appointment of Paddy Falls as its Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Bringing 30 years of software industry experience, Falls will be responsible for Neverfail’s technology development and product roadmap.

Most recently, Falls was the CTO and co-founder of UK-based iOra, a division of Corpora, which provides accelerated access and replication services to remote servers and laptops. Falls co-founded iOra in 1997 and served as both its CEO and CTO during its startup phase. In 2002, he took the full-time CTO role developing both the strategy and relationship with Microsoft which led to the company’s success of its enterprise replication product suite for SharePoint. In 2005, iOra was acquired by Corpora.

Prior to iOra, Falls was a general manager at Novell’s European Development Center, where he led a team that built Novell Replication Services. He joined Novell in 1992, when the company acquired International Business Software, where he was the first employee upon founding of the company in 1989.

During the 1980s, Falls was a software engineer at Prime Computer where he helped develop a distributed transaction processing system, PrimeWay. Prior to that time, Falls spent four years as a software engineer at International Computers Limited. Falls holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Sussex University.

“Paddy brings years of ground-breaking technological expertise and startup experience to Neverfail,” said Peter Parker, Neverfail Group CEO. “He is a vital addition to our team as we embark upon our next stage of growth and continue to build affordable solutions for continuous availability of business critical applications.”
