Neverfail Appoints VP of Channel and Sales Development
AUSTIN, Texas — Feb. 6, 2007 — The Neverfail Group (Neverfail), a leading global software company providing both a high availability solution and disaster recovery software, today announced Nick Harmer to a new company position as Vice President of Channel and Sales Development. Bringing more than 22 years experience to the organization, Harmer will work closely with Neverfail’s partner and sales teams to extend the company’s strategic alliances and build channel and partner relationships.
Harmer comes to Neverfail from a UK risk management software company focused on environment, health and safety management issues. There, he served as the Director of Alliances and Channels and was responsible for the company’s partner development and strategic alliances initiatives.
Previously, Harmer worked for three years as a Global Alliances Director for KVS Inc., an email archiving firm. In this role, he managed the company’s Microsoft alliances and team in the US, EMEA and the Far East, signed the company’s first global resellers, Fujitsu and EDS and expanded the company’s partner channel worldwide.
Following KVS’s acquisition by VERITAS in 2004, Harmer was appointed Regional Sales Director for France and Southern Europe and successfully turned around the region. Upon Symantec’s acquisition of VERITAS in 2005, Harmer became Regional Sales Director for Emerging Markets leading the company’s sales introduction into the Middle East and South Africa.
In addition, Harmer spent six years in a variety of business development and sales roles with Forte Software.
