Neverfail Announces Successful Year
AUSTIN, Texas — Dec. 12, 2005 — The Neverfail Group (Neverfail), a leading global software company providing affordable data protection, high availability and disaster recovery solutions designed to keep users continuously connected to business critical applications, today announced that the company has achieved an average of 50 percent revenue increase each quarter for the last seven quarters in the US. In addition, the average customer order value has increased by more than 75 percent since Q4 2004. This success is due to growing recognition in the IT industry of the importance of true high application availability and disaster recovery – and that Neverfail provides solutions for the Microsoft technology platform that are far easier to install and manage and far more comprehensive than alternative products in the marketplace.
Neverfail is the only "cluster-class," high availability solution to proactively monitor the health of the entire server environment, including the applications, operating system, physical server hardware, configurations and network infrastructure. Recognizing the enormous cost to organizations when outages occur and when end-users lose access to applications, Neverfail provides proven, comprehensive protection for business-critical applications to ensure maximum uptime in both LAN and WAN environments.
"No business can afford downtime, but for a financial services organization it is even more crucial to keep users constantly connected to their applications,” said Kazam Ali, network engineering manager of LoanCity, one of the nation's leading wholesale residential mortgage lenders. LoanCity installed Neverfail for Exchange in 2005. “Neverfail gives us the assurance that regardless what type of failure may occur, business continues without jeopardizing productivity or revenue."
In 2005, Neverfail introduced high availability solutions for Microsoft SharePoint and IIS as well as for BlackBerry. In addition, the company launched the Neverfail Data Rollback Module, which rolls back corrupted application data to a previous point in time when the data was in a consistent, accurate and operable state. Along with the company’s high availability solutions for Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server and File Server, these new offerings enable Neverfail and its partners to provide high availability/disaster recovery protection for a full range of critical business applications.
Neverfail’s growing reputation in the high availability/disaster recovery market is due in large part to the company’s rapidly growing sales channel, which now includes more than 400 Certified Channel Partners and distributors worldwide. The channel program was launched in the UK/Europe in April 2004 and in the U.S. in July 2004.
With its unique ebusiness strategy, Neverfail provides its Certified Partners with a highly profitable business model and a low-cost and fast set-up. Neverfail’s innovative online training modules enable Partners’ pre-sales, sales, consulting, implementation and support staff to become fully qualified and accredited in Neverfail solutions without having to ever step foot in a classroom – and at no cost. Currently, more than 1,300 individuals have achieved Neverfail certification, providing the company with a significant team of virtual employees.
"In the competitive system integration and IT services market, we are always looking for an edge – that software or technology which is changing the way companies think about their business problem and IT needs," said Bruce Somers, president of Domain Consultants Group, a U.S.-based systems integration company. "Partnering with Neverfail, we can offer our customers their award-winning high availability and disaster recovery solution, allowing us to differentiate from alternatives in the marketplace and aggressively grow our business continuity planning and services practice."
"With the recent natural disasters across the world and the growing recognition of the expense of any downtime, organizations are realizing the importance of true high application availability," said David French, CEO of Neverfail, Americas. "Because Neverfail offers a comprehensive solution that is an alternative to clustering at a very affordable price, we’re seeing tremendous growth in all areas of our business and with organizations large and small."
In 2005, Neverfail recorded significant customer wins in the legal, government, retail and financial services industries. The company’s list of customers grew to include NASA, which is applying Neverfail for SharePoint to protect data in the Hubble Space Telescope program; CitiStreet, a global benefit provider, which is using Neverfail for Exchange to protect its vital email systems; the City of Kennesaw, Georgia, which selected Neverfail for Exchange; WHSmiths Travel, a UK-based international retailer, which relies on Neverfail for SQL Server; and Jersey Financial Services Commission, the supervisory and regulatory commission for the finance industry on the island of Jersey, a financial center just off the coast of France, which installed Neverfail’s high availability products for Exchange, SQL and File Server.
"According to IDC, spending on high availability computing resources is increasing faster than spending in the server market as a whole," said Neil Robertson, Group CEO of Neverfail. "We are definitely seeing an increase in interest. Neverfail is the only solution that delivers proactive failure protection for all elements of the server environment, so our growing base of customers is testament to the importance of addressing system reliability, application availability, data protection and disaster recovery. Anything less is only a partial solution."
